Grover Cleveland Elementary has been enriching the lives of students in the Irving Park neighborhood for over one hundred years as a CPS neighborhood school. Our goal is to raise funds to help offset the cost of a high-quality public education. For this year’s Celebrate Cleveland event, we have set a goal of $50,000 in philanthropic support to help sustain and expand the impact that Cleveland Elementary has on our school community.
We believe great teachers and administrators build the best schools when they have the resources and funds they need. We hope you will consider investing in our Chicago neighborhood school by attending Celebrate Cleveland and/or becoming a sponsor, donating an item to our silent auction or hosting a parent party. Your generosity will be used to provide much-needed support for our school's strategic initiatives as well as much needed supplies, technology and program support.
On Friday, March 13, 2020, Friends of Cleveland, an all-volunteer, parent-driven, non-profit organization, will host the 2nd annual “Celebrate Cleveland” event! It’s an adult only evening event that will bring parents and the community together for what will be our largest fundraiser this year. Please join your Cleveland School community at Logan Square Auditorium at 7:00PM to celebrate all that makes Cleveland an amazing neighborhood school!
The Celebrate Cleveland Event is the largest fundraiser for Grover Cleveland Elementary school.
Organizing an event of this scale actually requires quite a lot of manpower.
Scheduling volunteers for Celebrate requires a tremendous amount of planning and cooperation. We appreciate your willingness to help make this year’s event a huge success!
